Remodeling
Ok, I have made a note to myself and sharing with everyone that remodeling is not fun. You should never try to remodel your home while you are going to school and working. Take time off to do this! I am putting new floors in my house and my house is turned upside down. I can not find anything and everything is everywhere. I can only do so much in a day with the school, work, kids and everything else life throws at you. I am actually writing this blog from my phone because my Internet is not connected right now. I can only explain how long this is taking and how frustrating it is. I will be so glad when thus is over with and I hope that all of this hard work and frustration is worth it.

Children this day and age
I was sitting here thinking about the way that children are raised in this day and age. Now don't get me wrong I am guilty of a lot of the things that I am going to talk about. We all want to give our children everything that we didn't have as kids and want to be able to give them more than we had. Is this right or wrong? Are the children growing up now going to get use to the fact that they are given everything and not have to work for what they want?
I know that I give my children everything that they want, if I am able to. I probably give them more than they deserve, but I want to be that parent that doesn't have to tell their children no. My children are both A-B honor roll and do very well in school, so I reward them for their accomplishments. Is this wrong? I want them to know that doing good in school is something that they need to strive for and I reward them with gifts when they do so.
But is this setting them up for failure when they become older? The younger adults, I will call them adults even though they do not act like it, that I work with have no sense of work ethic. Most either come to work late, do not show up, or work as little as possible to get by. Will my children act this way? How do I instill in them that working hard for what you want, gets you to where you want? Am I doing this by the way that I reward them for their good grades? Should I stop and just tell them that good grades are expected of them and not reward them? Am I doing the right thing?

Tips
Tips-- it should be 10% or more! I wished that people that come into restaurants would understand this point. We servers are only making $2.13 an hour and we rely on the tips that we make every night. If you do not have the money to properly tip a server, then you should go through a drive through.
I can understand if the service is not 100% not to tip appropriately, but I give my all in my work and I would appreciate it if you would tip equal to the service that you receive. Also, if you have a gift card or a coupon that does not mean that you can subtract the amount off the bill and then tip with that amount. I served you x amount of dollars in food, whether you pay for it or not you should still tip. I wished that it could be mandatory to tip appropriately on all tickets.
I will get off of my soap box now, just please if you go to a restaurant, please tip appropriately.

Breath Taking Morning
As I went out this morning to take the dog out and sip on my coffee, I noticed how beautiful it was outside. The ground is covered in snow and the sun is shinning. The sunlight coming through the trees are making a remarkable scene of sparkles and shine. I can see all the little animals that have made their way around the yard as we slept last night. There are little paw/foot marks going in every direction. I sit and listen to the birds chirping and singing and watch the squirrels running and playing. This is a beautiful site to see.
Now I am sitting watching out of the window my children playing in the white powder that have blanketed our yard. They are having a blast, I would go out with them but it is to cold for me and I have homework that needs to get done. This is one memory that I will keep forever. This weather shows how one little thing like snow covering your yard will make you stop and look and realize what truly is important in your life and how something so little can brighten your day.

Motivation
The weather, stress, lack of sleep, or family obligations? What is the cause of me not being motivated to do anything. I have pulled up my blog at least two times a day everyday this week and I am just now posting. I do not want to do anything, not even take a nap. This is crazy! I am usually on top of things and on the go all the time, but this body does not want to do anything.
I know the fact that I need to loose a little weight will help me have more energy, but then again I am not motivated to work out. I am usually always on the go, but the last couple of days I have only done what I absolutely had to do. I made it to all my classes and I came home and took care of the family, but I did not go to work or do any homework. I made myself today get up to clean the bathroom and wash some cloths, but not much of anything more was done by me. I really need to get out of this rut that I am in because I have to much stuff that needs to be done for me to just do nothing.
We will see what happens, I think I am going to get dinner done for the family and maybe get some of this homework done that I have put off to the last minute. Wish me luck!
